Car Alarms: disabling alarm, wire colors, brain box

I also have and after market alarm, prestige.  I found the answer about disabling via the valet togle. But our question is how do we find the brain box and permentally disable the alarm system?  We are so tired of the car working or not due to someone in our house accidentally setting the switch the wrong way.  We have a house full of teenagers who know it all(sigh).  thanks Su Reiser

Best bet Su, is to get the wiring chart for
your specific vehicle at www.wirewerx.com
that will show the wire colors/locations and designations
to get up under the dash and affect removal and repairs
to the exposed wiring left behind.

Wish there was an easier way to do it, but no.
The safest is total extraction.
