Car Alarms: Code-Alarm,Inc., code alarm inc, butt connector

used 95 chev Z-71 with code-alarm,inc installed. Fob doesn't operate; can't start vehicle. How is this system to be removed from my truck. I understand the alarm system is basically a starter interupter. Where are the wires terminated from box to auto? In the dash or column? Have tried cutting orange and red wires and closing circut with no luck. Now I am ready to remove and restore system excluding alarm system. Stalled in driveway;please help.

Ok try this:
locate the starter (yellow or purple) wire in the
ignition switch harness off the key.

You will see a relay inline with wires going from
the Code. Cut those 2 wires off of the starter
wire, then using a yellow butt connector, re attatch
the 2 free ends so that the starter wire is back in
one continuous piece.

The truck should start now. Then remove all other
ansullary wires, taping off as you go, and go ahead
drop kick the code down the street. Done.
