Car Alarms: Viper 350HV problems, best buy, buy car

GAH! help, please!  I have been unable to find sufficient help on troubleshooting alarm problems for viper.  shame on them.
anyhow, a few months ago my alarm stopped chirping when arming/disarming but lights blinked and doors locked/unlocked.  Tonight I went out, unarmed/unlocked car, got in start and...nothing.
I'm getting five successive 'clicks' on the LED when I try to start the car, but all lights in the car go out.  I have never found a valet switch in the car and assumed one was not installed (thanks Best Buy!)
Car will not start, and I am at a complete loss as to what to do.  ACK!

Wrong guy here. As it says on the site,
(that big button) I don't
supply support for DEI equipment or they're
clientel. Too many people have been asking
for the service they should be providing, and
I won't do they're job here any longer.

I refer these folks to either my forum
at www.installsupport.com or, I have a
guy at sales@tampacaralarms.com who might be able
to offer some insight. Good guy and he will treat
you right.
