Car Alarms: Nissan Murano Car Alarm, nissan murano, panic button

Yesterday my wife pressed the Panic button on keyless remote by mistake. As per my knowledge if I press the Lock/Unlock button or drive my car it should switch off the Honk but this didnt work. Alarm used to go on regular interval entire night every hour, 3 hours, half an hour. Finally I called AAA and they unplugged the battery wire. Will this reset the system with alarm or do I have to take my car to Dealership???

Sorry, this one is on Nissan, They will need to
reset it.

But while waiting, try this too:

Put the key into the drivers door (not using the remote)
turn all the way left, then right. This normally
would disarm the factory system. If not,
then yes, a visit to the Nissan shop is in order
to put it right.

Hopefully the first method will do it for you.
