Car Alarms: Xplore alarm system problem, ford expedition, remote starter

I have a 1997 Ford Expedition and I had this shop put in a Xplore alarm system that I had purchased from a friend still in the box brand new. Everything was working fine while it was in the shop. Alarm engaged and disengaged, remote starter worked etc....But the shop called me while I was at work and said that the brain smoked onced they hooked up the last thing the "SHOCK Senor". Now I have nothing but to buy another system like it and hope that I dont waste money doing that if the shop hooked up the wires the wrong way. I need your help!!!

Ok, not to make a big deal out of this,
but THEY smoked the alarm. I want my money back.
But if no joy, screw going back to this hack.

Anyway, find another installer, or do it yourself
for all that shop was worth.
