Car Alarms: Clifford Matrix 1, clifford matrix, valet mode

Question
I have a 98 subaru I bought used has a matrix 1 installed. Suddenly it has gone out of valet mode and I can't get it back into valet mode. I called DEI and of course they are no help. Can you tell me how to disbale the system? I live in the woods and don't really need it anyway! I don't want to hear that siren again and I don't need the battery drained because the alarm has gone off unnoticed.

If you can provide me with an install manual that would be useful.
