Car Alarms: black widow system, black widow security, livelyhood

Question
before i bought my 2000 olds intrigue a black widow security system was installed by the previous owner. I want  to disconnect it. too many problems. it locks the car up from starting.where is the module located. can you help me?

Answer
Sorry you felt I was trying to simply sell you something.
There are levels to volunteering Sir. What you asked
for was assistance to help you de install an alarm
safely. That is not what this venue was intended
for. That assistance/service is what I do for my living.

It's simple q&a here at Alleperts.com.

Let's turn it around for a sec.
Say I came to you and asked you to
spend an hour (or so) of your time off the clock,
to spend it helping me do what you do for nothing,
or give me what you sell for a living absolutely
free. What would you say or offer to me?

As you can see, there are levels
at which volunteering should go.

The wiring charts I compile and sell for
5 dollars at the WIREWERX would have
guided you through your project easily,
and is well worth the money for your particular
issue. It shows diagrams, wiring colors polarities
and locations as well as tech tips and support
for the individual project ahead. But no problem.
I am sure you will locate this info,
and get it done without my help or advice.

I spend many, many hours on here answering general
questions, and helping people out of they're
situations, (look at the past 6 years
of questions and answers to verify that!)
but again, for more involved q&a like yours,
unless I sell the product to begin with,
I reserve the right to reach a certain level
at which volunteering stops, and service charges,
for what is my livelyhood, would begin.

Again, that's ok. No harm no foul.
I understand you were trying to save money to
get a free service to help you out. We all do from
time to time.

But so be it. If you feel this is too much to pay,
or simply feel that a volunteer should always give
everything away for free, then I offer my apologies,
an suggest another of the fine volunteers here might
be able to go further for you.

Good luck with your project.
I hope you get that help you needed.
