Car Alarms: Alarm may have disabled my starting system., f350, good luck

Question
After putting a new door lock actuator my F350 with a Auto-Mate Model 3 will not start. I have checked everything and it seems to me that the alarm may be the problem. It will crank all day (with my new batteries) but just won't fire.

When I open the door the alarm starts clicking loudly, and the stereo clock blinks on an off. It always clicked, but I do not remember the clock doing that prior to my work.

Is there a way to reset this device, or can I remove it altogether?
