Car Alarms: truck alarm, dodge ram 1500, starter wire

Question
I have a dodge ram 1500, with a micro 4b model 1 keyless entry remote. It has locked up the entire ignition system and I can not turn on the truck, no lights, no horn, and a red light is now flashing inside on the dash.

It's an electronic keyless entry.
Explain to me how it's possible that it
affected a mechanical ignition switch?

If it has a valet button, and a car alarm
with starter kill, look at the last post
about valet overide to help with yours.

But it would only have a relay inline to
seperate the starter wire if actually installed.
It can not affect a mechanical device like an ignition "locking" it out mechanically.

You may have other issues
other then the keyless if this is happening.
