Car Alarms: 2000 f 150 alarm, sone, valet

Question
My son cut the wire to the alarm, because it was going off for no reason on a regular basis. Now the car won't start. What are my options and is there any remedy that we can handle at home instead of towing it to the dealer?

Have a look at the last posts on Valet/overide.
This should apply to this truck as it's
probably an after market piece.

You may simply need to reset it. But
tell your sone to repair the cut wire prior
to trying overide.
