Car Alarms: 2004 Honda CRV car alarm programming problem, 2004 honda crv, fcc id

Question
Hi,

I have a 2004 Honda CRV, don't know what the standard alarm is, but it comes with 2 remotes.
The problem that i have is that the doors lock when you start the car and had the keys locked in the car 2 times.
How can I disarm that feature?
I was told that it is not legal anymore to have it.
Please help.

Answer
That's a feature programing setting in an
after market alarm. Try to identify
the system you have, using the FCC ID. # on
the remotes. Try www.keynfob.com or
www.remotes4u.com to figure that out.

Once done, then you can contact your alarms
manufacturer for this info
as ALL alarm are different in features and protocals
to access and change them. You need to KNOW
exactly how it's done for yours.

That trail should help you solve this
for you. You can also contact the dealer
to see who they're after market alarm installer
is to get some help.

Good luck.
