Car Alarms: isuzu trooper factory alarm, car alarm installer, alarmtek

Question
I want to permanently disconnect my alarm. Too many problems with self arming itself and going off by itself. I haven't used it in 2 years and don't want to fix the problem but just disconnect it. Can you tell me how. It's a 95 Isuzu Trooper factory installed alarm.
Thank you

Answer
Ok, not factory. May have been
installed at the dealership, but factory
alarms can not arm themselves.

Since I don't know what that system is, and you don't
simply want to disable it by using the overide switch
if it exsists, then removal is next.

My suggestion is the start looking at www.mrinstall.com for
method. How to install, and de install are there, but if not inclined to get up under the dash, identify
the alarm, and surgically remove the wiring,
then I suggest taking it too a local car
alarm installer and have them do it safely.

If you are inclined, then you should get
the wiring chart for the vehicle, and
retrofit the alarm carefully, repairing
and wiring you come across as you go.
www.mywires.com if this option suits you.

I hope this helps some.
