Car Alarms: VIPER 791 disarming issue, viper 791 xv, alarmtek

Question
I just bought the Viper 791 XV for my 02 Cadillac Escalade.  When i unarm the vehicle, it says that my door was tampered with and it beeps 5 times.  How do I reset this?  I followed the directions and turned on the ignition but it still doesn't go away.  My remote start will just act it's starting but it won't actually start.  I am hoping that gets fixed once i fix the first problem.  Any suggestions?
