Car Alarms: Car Alarm, auto start, car alarm

Question
I purchased a vehicle with the Commander system on it and I had to pull the postive cable off the battery and now the system automatically sets after I turn truck off and close the door. I want to shut that off and still want the Auto start work. Can I do something to do this.

Wish I knew the system.
Obviously when it looses power, it
blanks the prior feature settings,
opting back to default mode.

You need the procedure for toggling between
passive and active arming. You want active,
but I don't have a link for the "Commander" alarm
unfortunately. So your first step is to locate
the manufacturer and download a copy of the
install and user manuals.

Wish I had more, but all alarms have different
programing protocals.
