Car Alarms: Factory Alarm, jeep grand cherokee, grand cherokee

My 99 Jeep grand Cherokee alarm is going off upon me trying to turn the ignition.  The hazards flash and the alarm sounds.  I cant get it to shut off, and I obviously can turn on my car.  Is there a way to disarm it?  Please get back to me when you can.

Please try to locate the valet switch
to overide the alarm.

If you would read some of the previous
posts I made on this subject, you will
see the procedure to toggle into and out
of valet/override mode. It allows
you to set and reset the starter kill mechanism
as well as all other standard alarm features.

This should also apply to yours.
