Car Alarms: Carbine 5600 plus car alarm, brain box, starter wire

Question
I don't know what I did.. I was just wiring up some lights in the new car I bought and i came across the "brain" to the car alarm. the alarm just goes off constantly and the power locks stopped working. Maybe I knocked a wire loose or something? I tried the "turn the key in the on position, flick the toggle switch, and turn the key off" solution many times, but its not working.

Answer
Hard to say without inspection just what happened.
However, if you know where the brain box is, pull it.
Hopefully once done, the system will reset.
But if plugged back in, and the alarm is still
"going off", then removal is the next step.

If you can't start the car, then you'd need to repair
the starter wire and remove the kill relay inline,
And you will loose the keyless entry if installed,
but if the valet switch in not operating,
then I don't see any other option.

Good luck.
