Car Alarms: anti-theft, alarmtek, ford vehicle

I have a 99 expedition.
5.4
fully loaded
the truck will not crank [turn over]
i have power to every thing but still it will not crank.
it started a month ago.
if you let it sit for a hour it use to crank,
but now it wont.
like i said the lights and every thing works.
is there a way to reset the anti theft
please help

Ok, It appears you've reset the PATS.
The car does not recognise the chip in the ignition
key any longer.

The PATS (FORD'S PASSIVE ANTI THEFT SYSTEM)
needs to be reprogrammed I believe.
You can tow it to any FORD vehicle dealer
to have the service department re code it.

The troube is in the ignition at the reader
probably, but Ford will need to determine that.
