Car Alarms: car shut off, ford dealership, ford 150

i have a 99 ford 150 and the alarm has shut down my truck i tried to press the button under the dash and it still wont work nothing turns on. how do i fix this?????

If you found the button, did you follow the
overide procedure?

It's KEY ON
PRESS AND HOLD IN THE VALET BUTTON UNTIL
THE ALARM'S SIREN CHIRPS ONCE.

THIS IS OVERIDE.
REPEAT THESE STEPS TO GO BACK INTO
SERICABLE/USER MODE.

Let me know if this applies, if not, you may be
dealing with the factory alarm, and then
you have a bit of trouble resetting it
on your own. It may need to be seen at the local
Ford dealership service dept.

I hope it's the first option.
