Car Alarms: 200 gmc sierra alarm, gmc sierra, body control module

Question
I have installed an aftermarket alarm in my truck, so I no longer needed my stock alarm remote… my roommate bought a truck just like mine so I programmed my old remote to work on his keyless… now the problem I have is that I can deprogram it from working mine so now we have one remote working two trucks… as you might have guess it really messes with my aftermarket alarm… so my question is there any way to deprogram that remote from my truck or a way to turn off my stock alarm all together thank you very much

Answer
Interesting. Ok, this is what to do to
siable your alarm.

The FACTORY ALARM DISARM WIRE IS
lt.green |- | located in the drivers kick
or at the body control module.
The BCM is located behind the drivers side of the dash.
The plugs on the BCM face towards the rear of the vehicle.

Once Located, splice into this wire with
a simular guage wire, and put it to
a solid chassis ground. This terminates
the alarm functions entirely.

Have a good day.
