Car Alarms: prestige valet switch fell off, service mode, toggle switch

Dear Alarmtek:

I have a prestige APS95BT2 and the valet switch fell off, leaving two dangling wires. I can't find the toggle switch. What can I do?

Gonna need to juggle with the hands a bit.
Ground one of the wires to the body.
Then do the following in the following sequence.

KEY ON, THEN WITHIN 4 SECONDS, GROUND AND HOLD
THE OTHER WIRE TO THE CHASSIS UNTIL THE SIREN CHIRPS.
THEN KEY OFF. THAT SHOULD HAVE PUT YOU IN SERVICE
MODE.

Now, buy a new valet switch for 10. bucks,
re solder the old one, or deal with it as is.
