Car Alarms: viper 300+ no fuel pump power, fuel pump relay, haynes manual

Question
I have a 93 Accord with a 300+ alarm system in it. I have had intermitent issues with it not wanting to start.
The starter is cranking the engine, so I know the alarm is not disabling that circuit.
I checked the fuel and I am not getting any fuel pressure.  So I consulted my Haynes manual and found that there is a fuel relay that sends power to the pump.  However, under that messy dash, I can not find anything that resembles the 8 pronged relay shown.  I dropped the fuel tank down to make sure the pump was ok. It runs like a champ, but I am not getting power back to the pump.

Does the alarm replace the fuel pump relay?

Answer
No Tom,
The starter kill relay is inline on The BLACK/WHITE
wire in the ignition harness in the Honda.
It is a 5 pronged relay, and would engage as soon
as the lock button on the alarm key fob is pressed.

Try resetting the alarm and toggling into and out
of valet/overide/service mode.

Look under the dash area for a button or, a toggle
switch. When you locate it, turn on the ignition
key, press and hold in the button (little
spring loaded micro button, red or black possibly)
until the alarm chirps 1 time. This should over ride
the system, and only the keyless entry part,
if installed, would still be operating.
The LED (light emiting diode) light in the dash
should also go on solid.

The engine should start if there are no other
issues holding it up.

Let me know if this worked for you.
I also suggest you get the user manual for
the alarm that explains this function
for future reference. www.directed.com

Good luck,
