Car Alarms: Scytek Alarm, scytek alarm, gentlemen

I have had a scytek alarm on my car for about a year and a half. I screen on the remote cracked so I purchased a new one and took my car the the company that installed the alarm. They programed the new remote and now my car will start itself, arm itself and disarm itself. I took it back the the company and the gentlemen told me that he could not find anything wrong with the wiring. He said that there must be something wrogn with the "brain" of the alram. My main question is why would it suddenly start going crazy if they didn't mess with any thing and have you ever heard of anything like this before?

My guess here is that you have the wrong
transmitter. There are several frequencies used
from Scytek, and you may have purchased the wrong one.

I'd stop using it for now, and contact Scytek
(www.scytek.net) and check with them to see if
I am correct.
