Car Alarms: car alarm, remote transmitters, fcc id

I have a Plymouth Grand Voyage S.E. 1998 6 cyc. I have read how you said to press & hold the valet button. ( Under the dash) I took off the panel under the dash but i can't find the button or a toggle. The service man at the dealer ship told me it was not factor install. I bought the car in 2005, I have read your ??? and answers. I tried most of them to no anvil. I'm a widow don't have a lot of money. Please give me some advice. Thanks

Wish I could tell you more, but without
first hand inspection, it's hard to say where
it is, or in fact, if it was even installed.

Does it have remote transmitters? If it does,
use the FCC ID# on the back of one to identify
the system. Use it at www.remotesunlimited.com
and if you can ID it, let me know and we can
go from there. But please be prepared to
have an aftermarket alarm/stereo guy ready to
to pick up where you left off so you can
restore the usability of the van.
