Car Alarms: Alarm on a 2000 cavaleir, keyless entry pad, alarmtek

I went in to have alot of work done to the car and now my keyless entry pad doesn't work and when i open the car manually it sounds the alarm and won't shut off.  is there any reset button or code for it?  They put in a new computer chip so i don't know if thats the issue.

Please tell me what you are experiencing.

I need to determine whether it's a factory alarm
issue or, if it's an aftermarket system you are
dealing with.

Is it: Headlights flashing, car horn honking
and a worded SECURITY" light in the dash flashing?
Or,
Is it: flashing parking lights,
an LED in the dash area, and a siren
"going off"?

Let me know more on this to better
advise you on a course of action.
