The car came with the factory alarm and was wondering if there is a way to make the door locks lock when the car is put into drive and unlock when put into neutral? Thanks

The lock part yes. Not so much on the neutral position.
However, an aftermarket device can be installed
to lock the doors upon ignition turned on, but it's
unsafe to unlock upon setting it into neutral or park.

The way the aftermarket keyless device would work
is when the key is turned off. This tells the system
to send an unlock pulse only. No surprises that way.
To jury rig the ignition would be unsafe and ill advised.

A simple keyless system (keyless car.com)
will make that possible, and would replace
your current factory system.
