Car Alarms: ALARM WONT DISARM, alarmtek, ford mustang

I HAVE A 2000 FORD MUSTANG.WHEN I DIS-ARM THE ALARM, THE ANTI THEFT LIGHT STAYS FLASHING AND THE CAR WON'T START.IT TURNS OVER, BUT DON'T START.AFTER TURNING THE KEY BACK AND FORWARD IT STARTS SOMETIMES.I HOPE THAT YOU CAN HELP ME WITH THIS PROBLEM.THANKS FOR YOUR TIME AND EFFORTS.

Please tell me what you are experiencing.

I need to determine whether it's a factory alarm
issue or, if it's an aftermarket system you are
dealing with.

Many veriables on this vehicle &
I Require a bit more imput please.

Is it: Headlights flashing, car horn honking
and a worded SECURITY" light in the dash flashing?
Or,
is it: flashing parking lights,
an LED in the dash area, and a siren
going off?

Let me know more on this to better
advise you on a course of action
to take, to help you to fix this
situation you're in quickly.
