Car Alarms: Keyless entry and car alarm, honda accord coupe, alarmtek

I have noticed that all the cars I have been into, when the remote is pressed lock, the car makes a beep noise, or the horn yanks...letting the owner know that the car is properly lock. I have a 2005 Honda Accord Coupe Ex, and when I programmed the key, I can unlock, lock, and trunk, but the lock does not have a beep or horn yanking sound....

Is that how Honda built it? or is there any configuration?....Also, how do I know if the security system is enabled...? Thanks

Not sure on the factory system. If aftermarket and no beep,
I'd say it was service mode. You'd need to reset it.
But if yours flashes the headlights and honks the horn,
you'd need to contact the local Honda service department
on what's possible.
