Car Alarms: Disable car alarm, alarm features, spare key

Question
Hi.  I lost my keys at a concert and my only keyless entry/alarm control was on the key ring.  I have a spare key, but everytime I open my car with it, the alarm goes off.  My car is a 98 honda civic with a non honda alarm system installed.  Is there any ways of disabling the alarm?

Please try to locate the valet switch
to overide the alarm.

If you would read some of the previous
posts I made on this subject, you will
see the procedure to toggle into and out
of valet/override mode. It allows
you to set and reset the starter kill mechanism
as well as all other standard alarm features.

This should also apply to yours.
