Car Alarms: wiring diode and relay, dome light supervision, alarmtek

i bought a astra 4000rs series and installed it to the van. as i said to you that the alarm goes on every 30 mins. well i didn't install the dome light output because i thought it's just nothing you know. well now that i need to wire this wire, i just don't know how because i'm a little confuse. it said to the manual that "must use relay" and i found out to the internet that it needs a diode, i just don't know how to wire this two together. could give me a diagram. thank you!

This wire you are considering is for dome light supervision.
Pass on that. It's the DOOR TRIGGER wire (green) you need here. Cut off the domelight supervision wire alltogether.
if used without a relay it will blow the circuit board of the alarm. JUST DOOR TRIGGER FOR NEGATIVE is what you want.
