Car Alarms: Automate, 2005 honday odyssey, alarmtek

Question
I recently bid on two remote start systems from my company.  i work for an insurance agency and we are allowed to bid on items that our company has paid an insurance claim on damage.  I have to remote start systems, an Autostart AS-2300i and an Autostart AS-1424i.  Both units are still in their shrinkwrapped packaging, but the cardboard box was wet, the reason for the insurance claim.  My question involves the installation on either of these units.  I have installed car stereos in the past, but I have no experience installing these type of devices in a car.  The plan is to install the 2300 in my 2002 Toyota Tacoma truck, and the 1424 in my 2005 Honday Odyssey minivan.  I have no idea where to start other than reading the manuals I downloaded from the vendor site at www.autostart.ca.  Can you point me in the right direction on getting these devices installed myself if possible?

Answer
I'd start with getting the installation wiring point
charts for both at www.WIREWERX.com .

This will cut the time in 1/2 for both projects.

I will tell you that you should be able to install the
Tacoma's system without anything else out of the box.
(I do not know the system you are installing so I
go by the normal "remote starter" systems one would
buy today.)

The 05' Odyssey however will require a Transmod bypass
module (see my diagram at www.relayhelp.com) to
accomplish your remote start goal. There is a pellet
embeded in the head plastic head of the key, and a
code reader in the ignition that needs to be bypassed.
These modules are 59.00 for the keyless type, or
25.00 and you get a spare code key made to go into
a universal bypass module.

I have what you need in stock, and if buying here,
I will extend SOME tecnical support for these projects.
I can't provide next level support on someone elses equippment sales mind you,
but I'll be helpful where I can.

Call at  813 963-3012 if you'd
like to go over it.

Regards.
