Car Alarms: alpine 100sec, alpine 100, valet mode

Hi, i just bought a cart which has a Alpine 100'sec car alarm in it but when i got the car the alarm isnt set. i was told i need to reset the alarm. i was wondering how i would do that? if i need a code or saomething to do this?

If the LED is lit solid then the alarm is in valet mode, and simply pressing the valet switch when the key is in the run position should take it out of this mode allowing all security features to function.  If the system does not respond to the remotes at all it is possible that the supply fuses have been removed and simply replacing these fuses could the the system running again.  Alpine has recently changed their site and I no longer see manuals available for consumer downloading, I would send them off an email and see if they can send you a .pdf of the manuals for your system.
