Car Alarms: viper 211 hv keyless entry system on 98 honda civic, keyless entry system, honda civic

nigttime the car alarm was acting like it was arming and disarming back in forth constantly...lights flashing and so on. I got up turned car door button to unlock and started the car for few minutes to warm up. Got out..left alarm off and listened..it started back up for about 15 minutes doing the same thing then it just stopped....please troubleshoot this problem for me...thank you in advance...burton

There seems to be either an open circuit that
your car alarm is reading, and setting it off.
Check to see if there is an open light or power
source of some kind still on when you arm and lock
the doors.

Hard to say though without first hand inspection.
Suggestion is to check all connection points
on your alarm for bad connections, and around
the car for open power sources.
