Car Alarms: car alarm, 1992 honda prelude, honda prelude

Question
hello.  i just bought a 1992 honda prelude si with a blown motor.  i replaced the motor and dindt know it had an alarm.  well now the motor wont start with the key.  i have been jump starting it with the batter and starter.  how can i take off the alarm that is hooked up underneath the dash?  also im thinking this has been draining my battery.  is it possible?  my alternator is good and the battery is new.  the exterior lights stay on even when the key is out and the car is off.  can i just take it to an alarm place and have them remove it?
