Car Alarms: Repeat Breakins - 2002 Impreza, audiovox prestige alarm, motion sensor camera

Question
My neighbor spotted the suspect clicking a remote to disable the alarm yesterday at 4am.  This is the 4th time someone gets in the car on a monday morning without leaving a trace other than missing items.  My guess is that this person has the code for the alarm.  This is an Audiovox Prestige alarm installed by dealer at the time of purchase.
-My question is, if I manage to reprogram the remotes, will this guy be able to disable the alarm again?
-If so, I suppose I should disable keyless entry - is there an easy way to do that?
-and I suppose a new alarm with rolling/hoping/? codes could help but are more money.

My final thought is to buy an identical alarm and put it inside the house so I wake up when the thief is clicking my code away.  Wait till he opens the door and shower him with love! ;)
The rest on what could happen is uncharted territory...

Answer
No, you need to change it. Try a car alarm that pages
you or even tales pictures as soon as the alarm
is breached. I WOULD NOT SIMPLY REPROGRAM!
This just invites trouble. Nope, change the
ammo, & change the game here to
your home advantage.

Go to www.pagingalarm.com
& www.visionguard8000.com

Also, a driveway motion sensor
camera/lighting system (149.95)
would also help catch this thief.

I sell all of these devices, and will be glad
to outfit you & stop this thief from doing
it again.
