Car Alarms: 2006 CIVIC CANADIAN FACTORY ALARM, shock sensors, car alarm

I have a 2006 civic w/ factory alarm. I was wondering if there is a way to hook up shock sensors on a factory alarm?

There is, but indirectly. There is a system
you can add to the current one, that adds channels,
but that is not actually worth it.
I'd simply add a basic car alarm and leave
the "factory" system alone.

The short answer is yes, but not really a good idea.
