Car Alarms: clifford alarm, valet mode, clifford alarm

My connection from my remote to the alarm in the truck will not disengage. I tried looking for the mother board to reset but can find. the model of the remote alarm is RPN 479 v/p/c. The alarm goes off when open the truck and it will not let me turn on the truck. I dont know what to d o next?

Depending on the exact model of the alarm this answer can vary.  Most alarms offer a manual over ride.  To do this you would turn the ignition key to the run position and press the valet/programming button.  This puts the system into valet mode and disables all security features of the alarm.  If you take down the dash panel(s) in your vehicle and trace back the connections that were made to the ignition harness it will reveal the brain of the alarm.  Once you have found the brain, you can go to Clifford's website and grab the owner's manual.  This will explain in greater detail all the features of your alarm as well as clarify exactly how valet mode works.
