Car Alarms: 1999 toyota solara, toyota solara, factory security

Question
the engine will turn over but the fuel pump will not run. The  car has a factory security system. When I try to crank the car the security light flashes, it never goes solid,any ideas Thanks RICKY

This sounds as if the vehicle is not reading the transponder correctly.  If you still have a second key for the vehicle, try starting it with that one.  If it still does not start I would suggest posting this question to a Toyota specific forum where an enthusiast may be able to explain the best method for testing Toyota's systems.
