I would like to disable my alarm.  I have a 2002 Nissan Altima.  The alarm came with the car new.  Can you tell me how to do it.  Thank you.

If you are referring to the factory alarm the only way to disarm it without a remote is to unlock the driver's door with a key.  This sends a ground pulse to the module in the door telling the alarm to disarm.  If you were looking to permanently disable it, you would have to check your owner's manual or with a dealer.  If it is an aftermarket alarm system then there are a couple of things you can do but I would need to know the exact make and model of the system to know if I can offer any specific assistance.
