Car Alarms: dei proximity sensor, proximity sensor, mass movement

im trying to tune my dei proximity sensor but i cant figure it out. i have heard several things about what the 2 screws do, i heard that one is inner and the other is the outer field, also i heard that one adjusts the inner and outer field and the other adjusts just the inner field. i was just wondering which is true if any

You are correct on that but it's "place in the middle
of the field you wish to monitor, then looking
at the face of it, the exterior setting wheel(red)
should be turned down to approx 8-9 o'clock by that
guage."

Then the other is turned up to measure interior
mass movement. Trim wheel clock wise to
gain the level of sensetivity that works for you.
