Car Alarms: Ford Dealer Installed Keyless Entry Upgrade, codealarm, service appointment

Question
I have a 2005 Ford Expedition that came with what I was told was a dealer installed alarm (Code Systems Inc).  I had some trouble with it being too sensitive and tried to make adjustments based on some procedure I found on the web (sequence of pressing the emergency disarm button in combination with having the horn chirp through different modes).  I never got that working so I took it to the dealer and they fixed the sensitivity problem just fine.  Sometime during this ordeal, a feature was turned on that is really annoying me.  The alarm automatically turns 15 seconds after I get out of the car, even when I don't press the lock button on the remote.  When a family member goes into the garage and opens the car door, the alarm sounds - this is when my blood pressure increases.  I asked the dealer for directions on how to turn features on/off but they refuse to provide this information and want me to make a service appointment to get this changed.  Where can I find directions on how to change alarm features?
Thanks in advance for you thoughts on this matter.

Answer
The system is in passive arming mode.
It is a programmable feature setting.
The trouble is, I don't have the procedure
to toggle in and out of your passive/active
arming protocals & procedures.

I don't sell CodeAlarm or, work on them here,
but try:

http://www.powercallsirens.com/codealarm.htm

and also my forum pages. www.INSTALLSUPPORT.com

You should get some good direction &
help from both.

Good luck.
