Car Alarms: Honda SV-4 factory alarm, honda forum, honda dealer

Honda SV-4 (year 95) factory alarm malfunction. The remote control intermittently function to on/off the alarm but majority of the time is not able to function.
I had change a new car battery 1 week ago and my remote control's LED (battery indicator) is ON. (in fact i had change it 3 months ago). Can you advise which area and how should i look into?

I would suggest purchasing a new remote control if it is acting inconsistently as you describe.  You mention that this is a factory alarm system, however non of my databases list a factory alarm for the 95 Accord in any flavor.  This leads me to believe that if the key fob says Honda on it it was a dealer installed security system.  Any Honda dealer should be able to get you a replacement remote as well as be able to program the new remote.  The dealers tend to be expensive so before going to one, I would recommend posting your question to a Honda forum.  Forums are a great resource and its members are normally fanatics about the subject in question.  Try posting your question to a site like http://www.hondaaccordforum.com/
