Car Alarms: MR2 CAR ALARM, car alarm, keyless entry

I HAVE A KEYLESS ENTRY CAR ALARM ON MY MR2 AND MY INSURANCE COMPANY WANT A CERTIFICATE TO PROVE IT IS A THATCHEM 2 ALARM. I JUST WOUNDERED IF THIS ALARM IS A THATCHEM 2 ALARM.THANKS

You would have to find the actual brain of the system and get the exact make and model number.  Then go to the manufacturer's website to see if they are Thatchcam approved.  I am not really familiar with the European standards but from what I have read, most security systems qualify if they offer passive arming and starter kill.
