Car Alarms: 2000 GMC Safari AWD with Astra 4000RS, immobilizer system, gmc safari

Question
I had a scytek dealer install my alarm/remote start and the problem we are having is it will not start with the remote.
He checked and rechecked all of the wires and he can't find the problem. The remote start will work when you start the van with a key push the button and remove the key the van will stay running, but try to use the remote to start it and it will not start. It will turn over, but it won't start. Do you have anything we can try? Note: He tried hooking it up all the different ways but still no luck. The alarm works but won't start with remote. Thanks! Brian

Answer
Just to be sure he added the correct part...

This vehicle has the passlock II immobilizer
system that, when adding a remote start,
must be interfaced with a PLJX self learning
passlock 1 & 2 bypass module.

If the installer did not address this, then you
need to aquire one, or no remote start.

You can get them at www.NOPASSLOCK.com

Other then that, can't think of anything that
would stop it from starting.

I have them in stock and can ship by 2 day
priority if neeeded.
