Car Alarms: horn sounds when unlocking with keyless remote, jeep grand cherokee, jeep enthusiast

i have a 2005 jeep grand cherokee limited 5.7L. when i unlock it with my keyless remote the horn beeps once. it doesnt do it all the time but most of the time it does. i can program it to beep when i lock it but not when i unlock it. how can i fix this?

It beeps when you unlock it?  I was under the impression it would only beep on lock, not unlock.  If reading through the owner's manual does not offer any insight, I would recommend having the dealer look at it or posting this question to a jeep enthusiast forum like: JeepForum.com
