Car Alarms: car help, prestige alarm, fcc id

Question
Hi there, is it possible that the dealership did not install the valet switch on my PRestige alarm system on a 2000 Acura Integra?
Secondly, my battery plate is loose and I have to tape it down to make the button work.
Is the prestige (FCC ID : ELVAT777A) a decent model and worth keeping or is it a safer bet to get a brand new alarm system and go with that?
On that note, is there any non-best-buy/ big chain stores who install them?

Well for 1, sure, it's entirely possible that
the valet was not installed. But replaceable
for 10.00 here.

I would start fresh, new equipment, updated protection.

And as far as where to have it installed, that really
depends on local area, Try to locate the small
business guy in your city/town that does stereo/alarm
work at my site www.INSTALLHELP.com  or, in the
local yellow pages. They usually take more time
and do it right.
