Car Alarms: Micro DLR4HD, ford f 350, solinoid

Question
The dealer installed a Micro DLR4HD on a brand new Ford F-350 Crew Cab that I just purchased, and I didn't recieve the manual. Unlock and Lock will activate all 4 doors and the lights flash, but with no audio signal. Is that normal? There also seems to be about a 2 second delay, between pushing the button and the action desired, is that normal? And Finally, what  uses can I add for the AUX button.
Thanks for your help,
Jim

Answer
You can download the manual at www.microalarm.com .
There is an output for horn honk, but the dealer
obviously did not attatch the wire. Probably still
on the harness, but currently not used.

Also, that is a most annoying, and yes standard
operation flaw on all Micro units. Not just on
the DLRH2. It's a "live with it" issue on those.
Sorry about that. Can't change that internally.

Lastly, you can add any module that requires
a (-) trigger like the aux wire does.
Like, window roll up, remote starter and even
a hatch/trunk release solinoid if the car or truck
can accomodate it. Not so much on yours though
for the trunk, but the others can be done.

I hope this gave you more insight.
It's a reliable system, just a bit quirky on
the unlock part.
