Car Alarms: cant shut it off, valet mode, alarm system

Question
I recently purchased a car with an alarm system already installed, it appears to be some sort of "astra" system, everytime i wash my car the alarms always goes off when the hose hits it and would like to know if it is possible to shut off the alarm completely for a period of time and then turn it back on?

Please try to locate the valet switch
to overide the alarm.
If you would read some of the previous
posts I made on this subject, you will
see the procedure to toggle into and out
of valet mode.

This should also apply to yours.
