Car Alarms: Alpine SEC100S Car Alarm for Jeep Wrangler, alpine systems, jeep wrangler

Hi, I have a ~3 year old Alpine SEC100s car alarm for my 2000 Jeep Wrangler that until recently the alarm will not activate. When I press the key remote to try to activate the alarm, the key light turns on & when I open the door, the alarm light on the dash board lights up & then turns off. Pressing & holding the remote switch does nothing & I've tried this with another remote as well so it should not be the remote battery.

How else should I troubleshoot this? Should I restart the alarm to reactivate my Alpine alarm... & how is that done? Thanks!

If he gets to see the inquiry, he should be able
to help. Best guess though is that your system
is in service mode, and needs to be toggled to
armed mode. TWELVOLTZ should be able to guide you.
