Car Alarms: Honda 2007 accord (stock alarm), warranty issue, reply thanks

Question
QUESTION: I went to get in to my car this morning and my alarm shut off button wouldn't work. So I went to start it thinking that it would shut off as soon as I started it and all it did was get louder. I replaced the battery with a new one and still nothing. Sometimes now, when I try to arm it, it won't stop beeping. I have to frantically press buttons to shut it off.... something is wrong. what do you think?
ANSWER: Tell me what's "going off" a siren? The car horn?
Headlights flashing? or just the parking lights?

If it's aftermarket I can assist more then likely,
If it's Honda's system, I strongly advice that you contact
the dealer to determine the WARRANTIED trouble.

Let me know.

QUESTION: That was a quick reply, Thanks. Its the horn and the 4 ways going off. I tried to pull the horn fuse but it killed my brake lights. Oh, I mistakenly typed it as a 2007 - I bought it brand new as a 2004... It came with a Stock car alarm.... I later added a remote starter. do you have any ideas and/or would this be considered a warranty issue

Answer
K, now I have a conflict. If the 4 ways are flashing,
is there also an LED in the dash area?

The remote starter may have triggered the factory alarm
system as well, but hard to say which one is which from
the explaination.

Is the company that put in the remote starter around? I'd say they
may want to inspect it, but the warranty is probably
up on it (usually 1 year).

But you should try to contact them on this to determine
if you can do something about it yourself, or
does it need to go in for review.

I hope you can nail it down.
