Car Alarms: honda accord alarm, honda accord ex, door locks

Question
I have a 2001 Honda Accord EX and the alarm comes on when the key is inserted and turned to the on position before engaging the starter.  It has factory installed alarm and  was wondering which wire(s) disable the alarm?  Also how difficult is it to replace with a third party alarm system?

You are going to need either the factory remote
here, or add an aftermarket piece as this
system will only disarm when the drivers door is
remotely unlocked.

It arms and disarms with the door locks on the EX models,
so unless you have the OEM remote, you would need to add it,
or an aftermarket keyless of some sort.

Adding an aftermarket piece is not really too hard on this car,
but will be required to control the factory system properly.
